wooden spoon to stir
saucepan
Tastes creamy and somewhat like soy milk |
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (16oz.) cold water
- 1/4 cup garbanzo flour (dry tastes horrible, but this will be heated)
- 2 TBL light (no taste) canola or sunflower oil
- a couple shakes of salt sugar or agave to taste
Method:
Place water, flour and oil in blender on high until well combined
Pour into saucepan and heat until slight boil, stirring constantly for around 2 minutes
Transfer back to blender and taste for the additions of salt and sweetener (note...the store bought "milks" almost always contain lots of sodium and sweeteners, so keep that in mind if you are going for that taste)
Let cool down somewhat and place in refrigerator in blender compartment until very cold
Before drinking, blend up to combine
