vegan prime seitan

This recipe is a replica of tofu/seitan cutlets, eliminating the nutritional yeast, and adding 1/4 cup of brewers yeast and 2 tablespoons of ground chickory, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 2 teaspoons of molasses to the food processor tofu mix and blend very well.

When you are finished steaming the prime cuts, marinade them in some oil (olive oil is good), then spice them up to your liking....hints, lots of fresh garlic is good, lemon pepper without salt is good, a teriyaki  or barbecue sauce is good for marinade also.  Make sure you refrigerate with the oil marinade before you grill or saute, then cool.

I don't put tons of spices in the actual mixture because it really is amazing and delicious without all that stuff....and, this has no strange aftertaste like some frozen mocks.
Enjoy!!
